Yay, my class situation got fixed. Phew! I was really worried, especially when I was looking into drop/add this morning and found out that drop/add ended last night at midnight. *headdesk*
I can tell I'm back in Florida. Went outside for about 5 minutes to dust/vacuum my car (it was at the shop while I was gone and now looks like new again!!) and am now completely soaked through. Super gross. I hate this place. So glad that we were all in love with Oregon. Titusville is slowly, person by person, relocating to Corvallis Oregon. Hopefully we will be there soon within two years. That's the plan, Stan.

Did I say post-modern, that was a lie; I've been post-post-modern since junior high!
11:37 pm
As Keith so famously put it, "I'm drownin', dog!" Holy shit I have a lot to do "this weekend." Had a small temper-tantrum when I got home from work today because it was really stressful at work today and instead of getting to come home and relax I got to come home and flip out over my to-do list. Had to move most of today's to-dos over to Tuesday and Tuesday's over to Wednesday. Ugh.

So much to do, too ADD to do any of it.
04:19 pm
I went through a spell where I did nothing in my free time but work on my Amanda Saves the Internet project, and now I'm having a spell where I do nothing in my free time... period. I hate it; it's such a waste. I can feel my motivation coming back to me a bit, though, in that I finally want to do something again... only, I can't get myself to do anything quite yet. The problem is that I don't know where to direct my attention -- do I focus on my Project, which will take quite some time to complete, but push back getting everything else done? Or should I focus on the smaller, easier-to-finish projects, because otherwise I'll never get them done and my webpage (among other things) will stagnate?
I don't know. I need to figure out a course of action. I think I need to dredge up all my to-do lists and figure out what my priorities are.
It's so hard for me to figure out what to do. I want to work on my big project, but I want to finally get it done. I want to play all the video games I've been stashing, but I also need to go through and re-do my playlists. I need to read my books. I need to start studying language. I need to do this, I need to do that.
And grad school will be starting in August... I can't believe how soon that is. And there will go all my free time. Ughggh.

THE LIST
02:55 pm
Lately I've been really excited about the fact that I'm going to be moving back home. Maybe most kids wouldn't be, but I'm glad that I'll be in ONE place with a permanent address again. I'm also really excited about all the cleaning and organizing I'll finally be able to do now that I'll have all my junk in one place instead of two. I'm also excited that I'll finally have time to work on my giant backlog of a reading list, as well as finally play some video games. So, as is my nature, I have made some lists. A citrusfish attacks!
02:45 am
For Krysti, because I promised (sorry it's so bad, I did it without any sort of fishy reference): I'm not even going to bother to explain this except to tell you all that it is a Cylon plot device or possibly some sort of crazy Hojo creation (kind of like those jellyfish-radishes that John said were bats? Yeah, sure, bats. Whatever). Citrusfish is a close relative of the Marilyn Manson fish. God dammit, Thanksgiving is almost here and I have extremely pivitol internet-things that I need to do IN TWO DAYS HOLY SHIT. UGH! In order of priority: - FINISH CONVERTING SOCIOLOGY WEBPAGE

08:28 pm
I am back in the T-vizzle! I get to get a haircut (no, I really am excited about this. I want to feel semi-cute again D:) and I went to Sunrise and got a muffin and my room smells like kitty (...). Oh, and my parents totally pimped out our entertainment with a new widescreen high-def holy-CRAP-is-that-a-TV TV with like the fifty-bazillion channels deal. I want to hang with my T-ville homies, but unfortunately, I have a paper that absolutely must be finished this weekend -- damn you, Wollstonecraft. Aaaand it's Sunday already. :/
06:20 pm
I know I already posted it yesterday on that big list o' doom, but I am just entranced with Jyosei Kashimashi Monogatari. I've had the song for ages now, but of course I had no idea what the lyrics were. OMG, it's so cute that they're singing about each other! And I have this overwhelming urge to learn the chorus dance and then film myself doing it with friends with a webcam and becoming INTERNET FAMOUS. Woooaah woah woah seeeishun! I could watch this forever, but I can't, because I have these things to do between now and tomorrow afternoon: - Reading:
- On Writing Well: pg. 231-260

The Big To-Do
11:38 am
My to-do list for the summer break. Some of these things have continually been on my list for what seems like years now. Let's hope I can finally finish some of this stuff off once and for all: ( Webpage To-Do )( Other To-Do ) Don't know if I can do all of that, but I'm going to try. However, at the moment I'm doing a lot for the Sociology webpage so this will have to wait.

Sociology webpage work.
- Sort through email.
- Work on new layout for Monotony.
Watch X-Men. XD
- Take caps from various movies for icons?
I really, really want to make icons of pretty movies. However, taking caps is so boring. Also, last night Sara told me how to extract the music from The Sims so now I can listen to in-game music whenever I want! I'm so pleased with that. After playing The Sims for a few hours -- especially when I'm building and buying rather than actually playing -- I get that music stuck in my head, but with no way to listen after I've finished playing. Now I can listen to this stuff all the time. Huzzaaaah!

No drunken bacchanalias for Miss Busybody!
09:02 pm
Oh god. :( My first day of frreeeeeeedom! is plagued by noise and headaches and tiredness. However, I am trying to ignore it (earplugs + ibuprofin + one of the sacred Vanilla Cokes from my supply hoard).
Other kids celebrate the end of the school year with drunken bacchanalias (last night, the guys downstairs made a complete mess and pitched a tent in the courtyard! Carlos -- maintenance guy -- was PISSED. He's usually so friendly; he was yelling at them and made them clean it up. Josh and Katie and I were up here peeking out the window and laughing. Go Carlos go!). How do I celebrate it? Well, yesterday I bleached the everliving crap out of my bathtub three times (and because it's fiberglass and not porcelin, it's still grimy-looking. Ugh!!), did laundry, and organized my very messy underwear drawer. Today I ran some errands, then I organized some files, finished a book, and organized ALL of my CDs / DVDs / etc. (I had to switch a lot of them out into different size folders because, for example, the CDs were too big for their folder, so I put the movies in their folder, and split the CDs into "soundtracks" and "not soundtracks" and put them in the old DVD folders... et cetera. Sounds lame, but it just took me about two hours. I was alphabetizing and everything). Now I'm going to work on some stuff for the Sociology webpage (I have to replace the old webmaster's email with mine at the bottom of every page), fix my electric toothbrush, and then I think I'm going to play The Sims if my eyes haven't bugged out of my head by then (and if I can even remember what's what on The Sims -- I haven't played in sooo long).
Tomorrow I need to run more errands (glasses place, carwash, Lowe's), take out the trash, clean the kitchen, clean out my school folder, organize my closet, and pack. And hopefully I can finish all of that before Amanda's film school movie showing around 7 or so!! I'm not even going to be leaving early Sunday morning because I KNOW I won't be able to go to bed early Saturday night.
When I get home, I'm going to start on all the computer stuff I need to do (there's a long list, I'll post that for myself later).
I can't believe how much builds up over the semester!! There are emails that have been sitting in my inbox for months! I am such an ass, but I'd rather be an ass than fail at teh school. So there we go. :(

Take that, papers!
12:05 am
Oh my gosh. I think both my papers... may actually be done. Holy crap. It's about time. 6 down 0 to go, baby! Heck yes! The last one was 7-10 pages and I only made it to 7. However, I have nothing more to say, and I think it would be best to leave it be. Tomorrow I'm going to read them over. It's always nice to get some sleep before doing that. So.
Tuesday: - Study CLT test - Finalize papers - 5:30 PM - CLT EXAM - ENG final - essay questions - Start EUH review
Wednesday - Finish EUH review & study - ENG final - multiple choice
Thursday - 7:30 AM - EUH EXAM - Die from exhaustion
I swear when all of this is done I will reply to all emails and comments. I will. I really, really will.

Stuff to do, people to see omg!
10:08 pm
So I went crazy cleaning and organizing at home, and now I'm trying to do the same up here. I've shoved all my poor, rarely-used art supplies in the tupperware storage container that used to hold my dishes, bought some pressboard for the wire shelves in my closet so that I can stand books up on them and thus fit more in there, and re-organized (some of) my drawers. I still have some more clean-up to do, though, but as school starts tomorrow I'm going to have to spread it out over the next week. ( To Do ) Oh, also saw something very amusing yesterday morning before I left: Friday night was kind of cold, so Saturday morning was chilly. So the news channel puts the Weatherman out in the dark in a jacket with a big thermometer, and at the bottom of the screen it says "BRAVING THE COLD" and he's talking about how very cold it is, and lifts up his thermometer... which is pointing to 42 degrees. And the news lady is like "IT IS SO COLD," and he is like "IT'S SO COLD!" and I'm just like CALM DOWN ALL OF YOU. Floridians are so whiny about a little chilly weather. It's really irritating. As soon as you start enjoying it, someone is going to run by going "IT'S SO COLD! I AM COLD AND WHINY!" Also, it is obnoxiously warm in Tallahassee. Very disappointing. For some reason it is like, colder in central Florida than it is in north Florida. Poor Krysti stepped out of the plane wearing a turtleneck today and was like WTF and I felt so bad for her so I pointed all my AC vents at her in the car. :(
